Architeacher’s director, Michele Olsen, asked the Preservation and Conservation Association of Champaign County (PACA) for funds to pay for a week long seminar offered to 50 students at Yankee Ridge School before they embarked on the field trip. Michele taught the students Illinois architectural history with a goal of developing positive attitudes toward the preservation of their heritage. PACA also provided funds for Nancy Blanford and her students to document the trip through digital photography.
