The Gothic Revival style has origins in the medieval times. Most houses in this style resemble English country cottages. Roof lines in these houses are steeply pitched, and the windows are tall and pointed, The exterior of the buildings are highly decorated with ornately carved trim that is called, “Gingerbread.”
